We want to hear from you.
You will need good references, up-to-date ID and must be willing to apply for a DBS check to ensure that you do not have a criminal record. We also ask that you are well presented, punctual and professional at all times.
Danielle, a private carer, perfectly summarises why becoming a carer is so rewarding:
“I’ve been a private carer for over a year now. I worked in a hospital for ten years and although I loved my job, I hated not having the time needed to spend with my patients.
“As a private carer, I am able to spend quality time making sure all my jobs are done and my patients have my undivided attention. When my day is over, I know I’ve given 100%.
“It’s perfect as I’m able to spend more time at home with my family, as I have flexible hours and my job fits around my personal responsibilities.”
What our carers say:
"I like being a private carer because not only does it suit my lifestyle, but it means I am helping the elderly and fragile and the people who just need a little bit of extra assistance stay in their own home. At the end of the day, I really am making a real difference to somebody else's life."Tia, Private Carer
